[Blank] My Life, a surreal comedic webseries, begins release of its second season on April 1st. It features Wicked's Jake Boyd and Megan Masako Haley, Michelle Veintimilla (The Visit, Fox's Gotham), Nick Rehberger (Fiddler on the Roof, The Glass Menagerie), and Dylan Wallach (Roundabout's Love, Love, Love). The show is written/created by Alex Spieth, in association with Third Space and Her Film Project. Watch the season two trailer below:
In the second season, our hero, Susan, falls in love with a dull lawyer-to-be who's moving to Ohio after grad. Meanwhile, her best friend, Brendan, is applying to acting grad school to get the hell out of this DEADBEAT town called NYC. In a vignette-quest stretching from Hell's Kitchen to New Haven, the two encounter sexually woke baby-sitting charges, threesomes, and the inevitable rape joke. Will the two be stuck in the City that Never Sleeps Forever?
Directed by Katherine Brook, Benjamin Viertel, Samuel French, Kyle Wilson, Asia Gagnon, Brian Muller, and Dylanger Bates. DP'd by Bart Cortright, Steve Griggs, Mike Kohlbrenner. Edited by Ben Ruffman-Cohen, Grace Samson, and Max Bernstein/Asia Gagnon
Alex Spieth, graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, began writing the series after being dropped by her acting agency, and says "Turn that depression into anxiety!" to every actor who isn't famous yet. The first season has been featured on wifey.tv, SnobbyRobot, and at the Brooklyn Webfest.
