THIRD SPACE AT THREES

FALL 2015

An evening of performances from web series screenings to musical readings, intimate to wild immersive theater, and a Jazz concert to close out the night! Enjoy just a taste of what's next to come from the members of Third Space and celebrate a successful 2015 season.

LOVE-LORN WEB SERIES
Creator Alex Spieth brings you a special screening of a never-before seen episode from "[Blank] My Life." As well as a nostalgic look back at last season and a taster from an all new play, which is, literally, godly. BML  is a surreal comedic web series that chronicles Susan's desire to find love and simultaneously not end her life.

JAZZY-FUNKY-MUSIC
To close out our evening, Core Company member Trevor McQueen and his band bring you original music and tastings from upcoming projects. Plus, word on the street is Trevor's got some new tricks up his sleeve.

MUSICAL WORKSHOP-PANEL-CABARET-BONANZA
The boys of KRAGTAR, Kyle Wilson, Sam French, and Joe Mendick, are back at it again, this time giving you a glimpse at select scenes and musical numbers from this monster political musical comedy.

INTIMATE TO WILD THEATER
Lio Sigerson invites you "In Bed With Him," to share in a private moment with someone you may know, or not, or maybe it feels like you've known this person your whole life.  Additionally, Stephen Tonti will transport you to a sawdust-on-the-floor dive bar, "Zebra Club," in Sacramento, CA where patrons invite you to listen in.

Third Space presents "Take Me to the World," in conjunction with Douglass St. Records. Featuring Core Company Member

Trevor McQueen and director Stephen Tonti. Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

KRAGTAR

Written by: Sam French, Kyle Wilson, and Joe Mendick

Directed by: Benjamin Viertel

SPRING/SUMMER 2015

Cast: Lucas Steele*, Trevor McQueen*, Alex Spieth*, Annie Yokom*, Philippe Arroyo, J.D. Killikelly, Zanny Laird, Michael McGuire, Johari Nandi and Jacob Vine.

Music Direction by Jacob Houser.

KRAGTAR is a new musical comedy centering on a love story set against the backdrop of a Godzilla-esque monster invasion. Harry Fine and Harvey Finkler are two gay scientists reunited by fate to prove the existence of the monster Kragtar to the United States Congress, which refuses to acknowledge the beast, even as its trail of tears leaves national monuments, organic grocery stores, and the bodies of seemingly-innocent Catholic school girls crumbling in its wake.

STUPID FUCKING BIRD

Written by: Aaron Posner

Directed by: Benjamin Viertel

SUMMER / FALL 2014

Cast: Nick Rehberger*, Ginna LeVine*, Brian Morabito*, Dylan Schwartz-Wallach*, Lee Harrington*, Grace Rao* & Trevor McQueen*

In this irreverent, contemporary, and very funny remix of Chekhov’s The Seagull, award-winning playwright Aaron Posner wages a timeless battle between young and old, past and present, in search of the true meaning of it all. An aspiring young director rampages against the art created by his mother’s generation. A nubile young actress wrestles with an aging Hollywood star for the affections of a renowned novelist. And everyone discovers just how disappointing love, art, and growing up can be.

Stupid Fucking Bird includes copious use of the word “fuck.”
